Am I Correct On These Two State Championship Stats?

I could not immediately locate this on the VHSL website so I figured it is easier to ask on here.

1) Is it correct that Altavista is the two-time defending state champ in 1-A football?

2) And is it also correct that Auburn has won the state in volleyball the last four years?

Your right about Altavista they beat essex the last two years. Have no idea about volleyball.

I know Altavista has defeated Essex the last two years in football.

Essex has been in the state finals I believe each of the past 3 years? I know they lost to Goochland, then dropped to 1A and lost to Altavista twice

I think if I'm not mistaken I read somewhere recently in the Roanoke paper that Auburn has won 3 in a row in volleyball. Don't follow the sport so can't say for sure myself. Altavista has won two in a row in football. Two years ago they beat Essex 21-0 and last year they beat Essex again 22-20
