Heritage looks like a great matchup. How good is Amherst?

Amherst was better than their record showed. They only won one game this year but it was not due to lack of talent. The kids were dealt a bad hand by administration hiring someone that wasn't a good fit. In fact, he was such a bad fit that he was hired in May and "resigned" in July. This was after the former head coach resigned in April to take a job in Georgia. Amherst improved as the year went on so the game against Heritage was probably their best effort. At the end of the day, it is not a good game to gauge how good Heritage is. A better gauge would be their game against Glass or Liberty-Bedford if you could get a hold of those.

I have not heard that EC Glass name in a LONG time. Classic games with Iverson and Bethel and Curry and Hampton

The Glass game will help you form a more accurate opinion of Heritage. Glass made it to their region championship game and Heritage was the only team to beat then in the regular season.
