Appomattox gave up too many big plays. Appomattox smothered on D and ever so often there would be a BIG PLAY (2 50+ yard runs, 1 50+ yard pass at end of game on a jump ball, and a few other big gain plays). What irritated me the most is our run game has been non existent for 2 games. The guys are running behind 4 of the same OLineman that has been there 2 years. Our run game should be dominating. We took a few injuries last night, but I dont know how severe they are at the moment. 2 of our major key players did not play. TE was done after 1st qtr and NC State commit #14 had some issues with cramps all night long. He was on sideline periodically all night. I think we should have passed more, but that is just me.
