Best of 757 Spotlight - Glendon Barcliff

Glendon Barcliff will go for the baseball camp 3-peat when he competes at Harbor Park in the Best of the 757 Baseball combine. Barcliff said he enjoyed the competition.

"I loved everything about it," Barclift said. "I was able to compete against other players in the area and it showed me what I needed to improve on."

From the results of the first two Best of the 757 events, there's no question Barcliff has the skills to be crowned the Best of the 757. He was named to the All-Camp team both years.

Barcliff batted .407 during his high school season at Greenbrier Christian Academy and he had a .938 fielding percentage. The junior played first base and in the outfield.

With good size (6-foot-2, 220) and athleticism, Barcliff did especially well in the Power Ball toss which he explained was his favorite event. He hopes to improve his overall SPARQ score with faster times in the speed events.
