Best of the 757 Football Camp and Showcase
Date:
• Sunday, May 31st from 1:00 - 5:00pm (doors open at 12pm)
Location:
• Virginia Beach Sportsplex
Directors:
• Director - Steve Monninger, Head Coach - Norfolk Academy
• Assistant Director - Alonzo Colley, Head Coach - Kecoughtan High School
Schedule for the Day:
• Athletic Assessment (1:00 - 2:30pm)
o Height, Weight
o 40-yard dash, vertical jump, power ball toss, pro agility shuttle
• Break/Lunch (2:30 - 3:00pm)
• Skills Camp (3:00 - 5:00pm)
o Position-specific drills
o 1-on-1 drills
o 7-on-7 competition (skill players)
o Lineman challenge (offensive/defensive linemen)
Athletic Assessment - Exposure:
• All athletes -- Consolidated testing results will be sent to D1, D2, D3 coaches at regional colleges and to coaches at over 100+ colleges from across the country. (Free - included with registration)
Skills Camp - Exposure:
• College coaches will be invited to attend the camp portion of the Best of the 757.
• Athletes will do position-specific skills led by area high school coaches, participate in 1-on-1 drills, and culminate with a 7-on-7 competition for skill players and a lineman challenge for offensive and defensive linemen.
Cost & Registration:
• $80 --- includes free lunch and swag for all athletes (including BOT757 event shirt)
o Register by April 17th --- only $60 (Save $20)
o Register by May 11th --- only $70 (Save $10)
