As of 6pm Monday, Northumberland was 9-0. Not sure what they are now. Essex is now 3-1 with a loss against a 3A team in the Richmond area. I was told that Essex was neck and neck with that 3A team but ran out of gas due to a lack of players because some were still playing football. This will be Essex's toughest game this season.

Big game indeed. Northumberland is now 10-0 (won at Rappahannock-Warsaw Tuesday night).

Expect a large crowd tonight with two very strong top ten teams going at it on a Friday night as well. Gym may fill up tonight, latecomers might not get in. I will provide a report after the game. Should be a great contest for the fans to enjoy. Toughest contest for both squads yet.
