Big wins for Graham, Central, KW, Nottoway, Draft

Graham blasted VH. Graham was up 56-17 at the end of the third with a running clock on undefeated Virginia High. I watched this one on NFHS and Graham looks eery similar to 2018. The Bradshaw kid scored 5 touchdowns tonight and just took the game over.

Central stunned the Union Bears in that M7 contest with that stingy defense and excellent technically sound technique of theirs. What was surprising here was how bad the score was. They really took it to the Bears and it sounds like they were more physical than Union and that is a rare occurrence for the Bears to be out- physically played.

I saw where Nottoway went to Buckingham and got the W on the road to remain undefeated. Nottoway has to be very good.

King William? Wow. Curious and no disrespect to KW for asking this. The team KW was playing was Lafayette! Did Lafayette have any players out, Covid, etc? I know KW is very, very good, and I thought KW would keep it close and have a chance, but Good Lord, that's Lafayette and over 60 points! KW must be dynamite.

I saw where Draft continues to win by beating a very good Buffalo Gap team. Same old consistent and very heady and we'll coached Stuarts Draft keeps rolling along I-81.

I'm not meaning to leave out any 2A teams mentioned in this post. I know the other great ones like Appo we're favorites as the Raiders exploded again. Also, credit to Poqouson who may have left a win on the field last night against undefeated 4A Warhill. There are some 2A teams out there with three losses like Central and Poqouson that are still very dangerous teams and better than their record.

Lafayette had two player out for injury I believe that were starters. I don’t believe that would have made a huge difference in the final outcome. King william scored every possession except one, interception. All I have to say is whoever has to play KW better bring their A game plus some extra.

Lafayette had as KW says had 2 D starters out and since beginning of season 3 other key D starters out with injury since the start as well as three other starters that transferred out before the season. A lot of D holes. Combined it’s been a little shaky on defense. Tabb got close and York had it won until the 4th. KG in game one stopped at the half at 14-14 had big plays like KW. 2nd half would have been tough. The signs were there who looked closely (like me). Kw Rb and qb are the fastest I’ve seen in a long time. If they stay healthy someone will need to score a lot to win, we couldn’t. Over 500 yards of offense and we lost by 19!! Jeesh!

Speaking of 2018 Graham, Cam Allen had 2 interceptions today from his starting safety spot, sealing the victory for Purdue over #2 Iowa.

The QB Robinson is just as good, he doesn’t get talked about as much. The two of them seem to be on a mission this year.

Robinson is just now starting to garner some attention. He picked up his first offer last week to FCS school Morgan State. He will get plenty more before it's all said and done.
