Blue Ridge 51 - North Cross 20

North Cross came out flat and it was14 to 0 before you knew it .
Overall, Blue Ridge played an inspired game both offensively and defensively .They are well coached and it showed last night on the field .
If North Cross had played the way that did against Christchurch and STAB, It could've been a great game .Losing QB Miles Lowman was their undoing .
It appears he as a broken collarbone on his non throwing arm .
Ironically , he is the third Raider to sustain this kind of injury this year .
Injuries have hurt the Raiders throughout the season.
Where the Raiders go from here is anyone's guess.
They have such small numbers ,depth will continue to be a
challenge .
Coach A and staff won't quit and neither will the team but ...
they certainly have their work cut out for them .
Playing 3 games in 8 days is tough for a team low on numbers .
Next man up ........

NC will still be playoff team, if they win 1 of final 3 games. Can't imagine the Raiders losing to Covenant or Hargrave. Fuqua could be difficult challenge Friday night with a short week to prepare a new QB.

Totally agree with the short week and preparing a new QB.
This will be a challenge and will be interesting to see if players are up to it.

Also, keep in mind that Fuqua has lost their starting QB (2nd Team All State last year) and their best RB/MLB to injuries the past two weeks vs. RCS and IWA. Not sure what their prognosis is, but both injuries appeared fairly serious, so it could be that Fuqua is w/out their starting QB and RB for this Friday's game against North Cross...
