Was hoping Ridgeview could get the W. They've beaten Wise twice but came up short when it mattered. Union matches up better against RV, they've beaten Wolfpack twice but lost to Wise twice. But Union has already secured their place in Region D tourney.

Apparently my ban has been lifted... not sure why I was banned to begin with, but anyways.... here's my two cents on the game last night for what it's worth.

The refs let them play, that's about all I can say. Wise Central was fouling us practically every time down the court, but the refs swallowed their whistles. One foul was all that was called in the first half for either team. Four in the second half until the final minute. Ridgeview was trying to foul to get Central to the line, but the refs wouldn't call it until it became borderline NBA Flagrant 1 level. I would expect this type of game out east or up north. Not in SWVA. Lucky some kids didn't get hurt last night or tempers didn't overflow.

Did you guys adjust and try and match the physicality? If the refs aren't calling much, I believe you should at least try and match their aggressive play and physicality. The Wise/Union game in BSG was very physical too, seems like the refs will allow a more physical style of play in some games and yet call others very tight. Not saying Wise benefited more, Union could have done just as much and it wouldn't have been called, but a more physical game favors Wise against both RV and Union.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen any SW Va posts from you on here.

Ridgeview didn't have the bodies to do that. Another thing... Trenton has no business being on a basketball court. He won't take any shots and he's the biggest body we have in there. Plus he's risking a very promising football career by even being on the floor. Mac would've been at least an all district wide receiver in football, but quit after his freshman season to focus on hoops only. Trenton needs to quit hoops and focus only on the gridiron.

Yeah, I was banned before Christmas for something and have no clue what for. So, since it's the postseason now, I figured I would log on and see if I was still banned. Lol.

Have him out there to give some hard fouls. If he can't contribute much, he should at least get his money's worth, especially against Wise haha
