(W&L had lead 2-1 but Essex came back in the 2nd)

Northumberland at Essex tonight

(another local score I heard recently was Middlesex v 2A King William tied, 1-1 I believe)

Standings (I will try to update on occasion, add corrections as needed)

Essex 3-1 (including W&L, loss to Rapp-Warsaw 1-0)
Rapp-Warsaw 2-1 (including W&L, or 2-0 in 43)
Northumberland 2-1 (loss to Essex in OT)
Lancaster 1-2 (defeated W&L who for now is in 2A)
2A W&L 1-2 (yes I know they are not in 43 but they still reside in the NND)
Rapp County 0-2

May looks to be busy, for example, Northumberland plays 8 regular season matches in the next 14 school days (7 v NND teams plus a trip to Williamsburg to play 2A Bruton - last year's 2A State Champion Runners Up v superpower George Mason).

W&L at Rapp tonight

Rapp-Warsaw won over W&L 4-1. Rapp's Chris Fols had a sweet free kick. Fols walked off after he shot it like it was nothing (before it even went in). Nice. JV was a 0-0 tie.

Essex won over Northumberland 7-0. Essex newcomer Darius Jones scored 4 goals in a row (plus had an assist). Again, the NND/43 POY will probably be between Rapp's Fols and Essex's McKinley.

Northumberland JV won over Essex JV 4-1 for the Indians' 1st JV win over Essex in over a decade (like 12-14 years).

Mathews over 2A KW 6-1.

Ha, yes I wondered the same thing when I heard this player was playing. No, he is a new transfer student this year from another state I heard.

Last nights games,

Rapp-Warsaw defeated Lancaster 5-0.

Mathews defeated West Point 4-3. (Mathews and Rapp remain the top two old Region A teams as predicted in the preseason polls - with Northampton).

W&L edged out Northumberland 2-1 in a great battle at Montross. It was 1-1 at the half, the Eagles scored on a corner kick with 5 minutes left in the game. JV was a 2-2 tie.
