Radford is usually a good defensive team. They held GW to 33 points in the regional finals and that was an OT game.

Radford is just a better team. Mathews struggled against top teams. Lancaster blew them out 3 times this year by double figures. The lowest in the upper teens, 20 plus and 30 plus points. East #3 seed Altavista blew them out as well by 21

Nevertheless...still a good season for Mathews. A State quarter final team (Elite 8) is a good look. And I know what you mean about Lancaster. My Essex Trojans have faced them 4 times this year. We split 2-2.
