made the hour and 20 minute trip to watch you guys last night.

First, man how are you guys not 1A? Such a small school compared to the 2A schools I'm used to seeing!

Congrats on the W. Saw a lot of good for your future but also a lot of possible issues. Mainly #1s attitude. Watched the young man quit on several plays, yet always quick to mouth off when making a good play. Saw a lot of taunting that may work against 8th graders but against a senior will get him popped! BUT the kid is an exceptional athlete.

#3 is going to be a stud for you guys down the road. Bryce will be a good one. I wish #40 would hit a growth spurt because he was laying some licks out last night.

It was nice seeing a game with some offensive fireworks. Haven't seen a lot of that over our way, even if it was JV

Also, at one point last night the refs blew the whistle an extra point attempt, for an offsides penalty then gave the coach the option to take the point or take the penalty. Which is wrong.

Another call that confused me was an ineligible man downfield call, but the snap was taken at the 1 yard line. I had never thought about it until then but how does one get that penalty when you have to be 5 yards downfield to get it?

I believe it would be impossible for ineligible man downfield from 1 yard line, unless an offensive lineman split wide and ran a pass route.

That's how I felt HR6
It was just weird to me, first time I've ever seen it called. There are no yard markers in an endzone so what's to say a lineman is past 5 yards?

Just first time I saw it called. Also so an obvious offensive pass interference late in the game. Score was 48-18 and when a fan called for the penalty the ref turned and pointed to the scoreboard. I don't care if it's a blow out a penalty is a penalty

Normally in a blow out, flags go against the team that's doing the blowing out. Have seen it many times.

What's the Ole Saying, "trying to keep it close".

Trevor I'm glad u noticed about #1. That's my nephew, Tarian Ayres's brother. I constantly drills him about his attitude it makes me sick to my stomache. I jumped on his butt when we got home last night in the worst way. Did the same to his brother and he eventually got it together. He is a little different he battled ADHD growing up and I have seen major improvements to be honest but a lot more growing up to do. He is a good kid well respectful off the field but on the field I don't know with be going through his head. But yes we do have talent for the future.

He is very talented! No denying that! I blame athletes on tv for a lot of it. The kids want to be like them and see how they portray themselves. I know he's young an I figure he will get it together, at least I hope because the athleticism is definitely there!

I may have been sitting behind you actually. I noticed we were sitting behind some of his family and could hear them saying the same things! I was there to watch Bryce.

You guys definitely have some speed waiting in the wings. Wasn't much on the coaching strategy but they players made up for it!

Yes I was the guy with the Green hoodie that hauled the crying 5year old out of there lol! Sitting with my nephew's mom she was the lady going off on Tyrese every time he acted a fool.

What is their record now? I know when Appomattox JV beat them, I dont remember #1 talking trash? I remember them them being respectful, but that was the first game of the season. BCKnights says that is his nephew so he knows better than I do.

They lost to Appomattox. He really isn't a trash talker he said the other night he and some of the kids from Amelia had been trash talking on the phone and it carried over. Its all good he'll grow out it or I'll choke it out of him one or the other.

I got a good laugh out of that one BCKnights! Lol it happens in rivalry games. He will definitely be a fun one to watch in varsity in a few seasons that's for sure

36-16 Appomattox was score, somebody just inboxed me on Facebook. Buckingham and Appomattox is definitely going to be the powerhouses to watch in this area for next few years.

The JV Knights are now 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the James River District, Amelia was unbeaten going into that JV game on Thursday, so Trevor you got a chance to sorta watch the de facto district title game for the JV's

That is crazy that both the varsity and the JV was beat by Appo and both went on to win the rest of the games. Just for giggles.....The Appo vs. Bucktown JV game is going to be labeled, the "BATTLE OF THE HATCHET" lol
