It saddens me do see the proud folks at Appomattox struggling through such an unfortunate season.
They have probably played toughest schedule in all division two and opened conference play with top two teams in conference this year Id say. Played both really close for most of game. Think they will win out remaining four games and could climb high as 5 in region C. It is off year but hope is not lost to salvage decent season to build on. Think they need to rethink schedule so they don't get pounded so hard first four games until they does a little rebuilding but they still a lot better than record indicates.

Appo has 4 left. Will win the next 3 and the final game with Dan River in game 10 will be the game that likely decides if they get in the playoffs. Might get in at 3 and 7 as the 8th seed (maybe) but winning the last 4 would get em in. I think the next 3 are wins for Appo. Dan River, the last game will be the close one that decides

If RV and Graham finish 10-0 is Graham 1 seed bc of Lebanon? Or would Abingdon give RV enough points to leap them? Assuming both go 10-0 and Union goes 7-3

A lot can happen but I would lean GHS in that scenario.

Union, Richlands & VA High are wash outs since both teams play them.

For Ridgeview their other opponents’ wins would line up something like -
Abingdon 7 **
Gate City 6
Grundy 6
Lee 5
JI Burton 3
Central 2
John Battle 0

For Graham their other opponents’ wins would line up something like -
Lebanon 8
George Wythe 8
Tazewell 7
Bluefield 3
Pulaski 2 **
Galax 2
Marion 0

If it fell like that then Graham’s opponents finish with 30 wins compared to RV’s 29. Both teams would get the extra points for beating a 3A team (Abingdon & Pulaski).

Scenarios that could throw a wrench into things, that I didn’t account for in those projections, would be:

Scenarios favoring RV:
Abingdon win over Union.
Richlands beating Galax.
Virginia High Beating Lebanon &/or Tazewell.
Rural retreat beating Lebanon.

Scenarios favoring GHS:
Marion beating Richlands
Galax beating Giles
Bluefield winning 4 or more (O.H., Grayson, J.M. are toss ups. Hard to judge.)

Of course there are other scenarios that could happen that could change the order up, including major upsets, game cancellations, etc. but I feel like if both teams are 10-0 then Graham outpoints Ridgeview by a small margin.
