Can anyone explain what happened to Lake Braddock in 70-3 loss to Stone Bridge ? nm

Is Stone Bridge that good and Lake Braddock that bad or were there other factors?

I did not see the game but I will present a theory that perhaps others can confirm. First, LB is a slightly above average team at best, IMO. Second, I have heard Mickey Thompson has said he thinks this just might be one of his better teams. My theory is that LB put 8-9 in the box looking to stop SB's offense. If SB was able to block well and/or seal the ends, their RBs would be able to quickly get to the second level. With most of LB's defense in the box, it was then all over. Only a theory, but knowing how difficult it can be to stop the SB offense and/or pick up the ball with all the misdirection, that is a possibility.

We'll get to see next week how good they are, Stone Bridge will be playing at James Madison (pending the hurricane weather)...and the Warhawks have won 2 of the past 3 games (losing last year though).
