As for Northumberland, overall the Indians held on and got the W.
However, it must be a learning experience because Rapp will defeat the Northside next week if a few things are not fixed.
NHS was up 28-12 right before half with all the momentum and was to receive the 2nd half kickoff.
Just two things that I will mention-
1) The horrendous mistakes in the secondary tonight led to a late CB bomb right before half. That was a game changer. I saw adjustments were made that were good. Then in the 2nd half a CB WR was let go over 20 yards past the D for an embarrassing TD bomb.
Palmer or Saunders must play free safety v Rapp.
2) Every game, 4 or 5 times, a player off the bench does not go onto the field (usually during special teams). This causes confusion and delay of game penalties. If the kid is not paying attention, he should not play anymore. People need to pay attention at all times and at practice. It is infuriating.
