Statesmen led 12-10 at the half. A 4th down stop by the Chargers in their own territory with 3:50 to play was a key to their victory. Kicking game was a deciding factor as well. Central had 2 field goals and 1 PAT. Statesmen were unable to convert any extra points with a failed kick and 2 failed 2 PAT's. Bright spot for RH was the defense which stopped Central twice when they had 1st and goal from inside the 10. Chargers had to settle for FG's in both cases. Chargers ran predominately inside the tackles and controlled the clock for the most part. Interesting game to watch.
