After an even first half that saw the teams go into the locker room tied at 14 each, Centreville used a strong running game and rode RB Ragland to a 28-14 victory.

WF too the opening KO but turned the ball over when Jenks fumbled on the CV 47 yard line (I think it was Bates who recovered). CV then went to work and scored when Ragland ran it in from 5 yards out to give CV a 7-0 lead (Daly XP) with 7:36 remaining in the first quarter. WF then got a good KOR from Anderson to start at their own 46 yard line, and this time they scored when Jenks found Murphy with a 10 yard TD pass and it was tied at 7-7 (Mattfeld XP) with 3:12 remaining in the first quarter. CV quickly jumped out in front on their next possession, a 68 yard scoring drive capped by another Ragland TD, this time a 2 yard run to put CV back in front, 14-7 (Daly XP) with 11:11 to play in the half. WF punted on their next possession, followed by a CV three and out. WF then scored on a 71 yard drive, scoring on a Jenks 6 yard run (Mattfeld XP) to tie it again at 14-14 with 2:18 remaining in the half. CV then had one last chance to score before the half, moving from their own 40 yard line to inside the WF red zone before they attempted a 39 yard Daly FG that fell short.

CV received the second half KO and started at their own 32 yard line. After using Ragland to get all the way to the WF 16 yard line, Resko found Shields for a 16 yard TD pass and CV went back in front 21-14 (Daly XP) with 8:45 left in the third quarter. WF's next possession was a three and out to give CV the ball back on the CV 21 yard line. CV went on another Ragland led march, scoring when Ragland ran it from the one for a 28-14 lead (Daly XP) with 2:06 remaining in the third quarter. WF's Jenks fumbled again on the next WF drive, near midfield, and CV took over on their own 46 yard line. CV was unable to move the ball and punted but a penalty on the punt return pinned WF inside their own 10 yard line. WF got a little space but punted the ball back to CV near midfield, at the WF 48 yard line. On this possession CV did get a first down, but after a penalty found themselves facing a 3rd and 27 hole that they were unable to overcome and they punted the ball back to WF. WF was unable to move the ball and the game ended when Jenks was sacked on a 4th and 13 at the WF 33 yard line as time expired.
