Reverse Flea Flicker.
As the name implies, this is a combination of a reverse and a flea flicker. After one or more reverse handoffs, the ball is lateraled back to the quarterback, who looks for an open receiver downfield. As with all flea-flickers, the play is designed to trick the defensive backs into coming upfield prematurely to defend what they believe to be a rushing play.

On the very first play after the kickoff, Centreville used a trick play, reverse flea flicker, that resulted in a quick touchdown. The QB handed the ball to a WR, who ran a short distance before handing the ball to another player running in reverse. The second player ran a short distance before turning and passing the ball back to QB Ferrick (flea flicker) who then threw a long bomb down the field to RB Richbourg for a 59-yard touchdown pass. Richbourg was wide open as the Chantilly defensive backs were deceived into thinking that a reverse rushing play was in progress and rushed upfield toward the line of scrimmage.

With only four seconds elapsed in the first quarter (and game), Centreville led 7-0.

A few minutes later, on third down, Chantilly suffered a bad pitch in the backfield as the ball went high toward the end zone. The Centreville defense (DB Tutt) recovered the ball for a four-yard touchtown fumble return. Thus, Centreville has a 14-0 lead with barely 6 minutes elapsed in the game.

Centreville RB Taylor Boose played in the game and gave an outstanding performance. He ran for 180 yards on 14 carries. He had touchdown runs of 52 yards, 8 yards, and 60 yards.

Centreville RB A.J. Turner still did not dress for the game. He has already missed 6 games this season and is still wearing a cast on his right hand. I am beginning to wonder if he will ever play this season. Perhaps he will surprise everyone by dressing for the Westfield game next week.

The second TD was a bad pitch on third down, not a punt....but still a TD!! Tutt would have been a returner if it was a punt.

There's no question that you are correct. I probably thought it was a punt attempt because of how high the ball was pitched.
