Chilhowie to play for State Championship

First, let me congratulate Galax on a great game and a great season. They are a classy group of folks that have put SWVA on the map. I tip my hat to the players, parents, coaches, and fans of the Maroon Tide.

Chilhowie's hard fought win over Galax was special. Chilhowie has a special group of players and coaches. There is no quit in these players. The more they play, the better they get. Few gave Chilhowie any respect this year, but they just kept on playing and getting better each week, especially after mid
season.

It will be exciting to watch those Warriors play in Salem. Go get them Warriors!!!

I will be the first to admit, when they came out. I thought they were small and Galax would wear them down but I was wrong. They made big play after big play today. That QB was something to watch, how many yards did he end up with??

Chilwar congrats to you and those YOUNG Warriors my friend. I've been very high on them all year. And knew when I saw them at GW they could make it deep. Chilhowie has a team that is like wine they will only get better with age. Best of luck in Salem next week against RH. I will say they aren't like anyone else in the way they operate.

Hey Scags, That QB is just now getting healthy. He missed some games, but now he is back, and boy didn't he look good against Galax. Not sure he can have that kind of game against RH, but he his a pretty good ole boy. I hope we can play well against RH.

Alot of things aligned for Chilhowie. From Galaxs star running back being hurt to everything they did Saturday worked for them. I mean that QB couldn't miss on crazy long bombs that just was beyond belief. Not taking anything away they played really well against us. Just saying take this golden opportunity and run with it. Go get you a ring.
