The better team won no doubt, but Lee played Clarke much tougher than I expected. I was expecting a blowout, but Lee was ahead 7-0 at the half and very well could have been 14-0 at that point if not for a fumble at the 1 or 2 yardline (not sure if he would have gotten in, but that field position would have been tougher as well). Clarke wore the D down in the 4th quarter and capitalized on a pick 6 later to seal the victory as it was tied at 7s going into the 4th if I remember correctly. It was a battle for sure. There was one turnover on downs on Lee at about the 30 yard line when they were driving that looked like a first down, but it was marked short, not sure if anyone had a better angle but from where I was standing looked good (not that it matters now).
As for the poster that asked about Buffalo Gap, they have been a tough team to peg for me this year. Play calling on offense seems a little odd to me in the games I've seen as they try to force rocket and jet packages a lot when they should just lineup, run North/South and smash it down your throat, but it has apparently been successful as they have won 8 games so far. Their game with Brunswick was apparently a bloodbath that could have gone either way, with numerous penalties (which have haunted them all year long). Going into the playoffs I would have picked Clarke by 5 TDs over BG, but after last night I think it has the potential to be a lot closer than that.
