Clarke started off early with 3 points after a false start on the 2 yard line stalled their drive. Dominion took the ensuing kickoff 98 yards for a TD. I thought we were in for a long night. Clarke hung in there though but a field goal attempt just before half hit the posts so the score was 10 - 21 in favor of Dominion. Dominion had several personal fouls and a couple unsportsmanlike penalties and even their kicker got a targeting penalty. I'm not up on the rules, but imho targeting gets you ejected immediately. Anyway, Clarke took over the second half and only allowed Dominion 3 points. Clarke still had some stupid false start penalties that they will hopefully work on, but they played like it was the 6th or 7th game of the season in the second half. They ran around, through, and over Dominion. Dominion is supposed to have some D1 commits on their team, I didn't see that at all. One heckuva game though, my heart got a workout. Clarke took the lead 25-24 in the third, but missed a 2 point conversion. In the 4th, Dominion was driving but Clarke intercepted and ran it back to Dominion's 42. The ensuing play, Kyle Baylor ran for a 42 yard TD. Clarke scored again later and then on Dominion's final drive in the 4th quarter, Clarke intercepted and ran out the clock on the last 2 plays.
