Clarke scores 2 TD's so far against Central, who hasn't been scored on all year!!! 14-28 Central in the 3rd quarter.

CHS shot themselves in the foot a little. A couple turnovers and not the greatest coaching decisions tonight. 6-0 still looks good on them however. They should be fine after a short week to prepare and continue district play. Lot's of cramping going on with several players tonight as well. Go Big Blue.

Riverheads and central match up looming should be a good game and give me a good idea where Riverheads is at this year as I believe central is top four in 2a

Went to this game central is good. I tell you what Clarke looked pretty good to me too scrappy and more physical then I thought they would be for a young team .And the Rutherford kid there running back is a beast.

I knew Eastern View would win in a route and had no interest in traveling to Nelson to watch the Madison game so I we went to this one. Came away with two thoughts:

Clarke was much better last year but got totally waxed. The Clarke coaches are better than Centrals.

Take away number two: Central probably does not make it to Salem. They have the talent but talent only gets you so far.

I think the Riverheads folks saw enough last night to exploit that they may just pull the upset next week.

I’m no Central hater either. I pull for BRD teams in 2A.

It was a hard fought battle by both teams, it's a shame one of Clarke's best players Kyle Baylor left the game in the 1st quarter due to an injury, hopefully he will be ready for Strasburg this Friday.

According to the Winchester Star, Baylor is playing tonight.
