I will agree, 10-0. The Millbrook game will be revenge. Don't really understand why we have 6 away and 4 home, although I know we had 4 away and 6 home last year, but why the diff in the first place?

Hedgesville is on Millbrooks schedule this year and was last year as well. Did Hedgesville handpick Millbrook, or did Millbrook handpick Hedgesville? Just curious.

If small WV program Hedgesville is supposedly known as a scheduling cupcake, why is it ok for 4A Millbrook to accept a 2 year home/home deal with them, but it is not OK for 2A Clarke County to have accepted, or requested, the same deal in the past?

And hedgesville is not a "small school" just to clarify on his original quote --They are 3a in WV which is the highest classification in WV.

Pioneer 101 seems to think that. Not all of Millbrook. Our program isn't ready for a Sherando's murderers row but we certainly don't go looking for breathers. It will be interesting to see what Clarke does with the loss of of a couple of games next year. Any new schools opening?

Dinwiddie has been on the 6-4, 4-6 schedule for four years now. I'm told we will be back to 5-5 starting with the new cycle in 2017. Thank God. I know it's only a one game difference, but it seems like you are going somewhere else every Friday night on the bad year. A local school pulled off a fast one a few years ago. 7 home and 3 away. And did not have to recipicate the following year. Some pretty slick maneuvering by their AD.

Scheduling can be difficult. Let's just hope for the sake of competiton that Handley and Millbrook are "re-upped" after this season. We will see.

Rest assured that the opportunity to play Clarke again was extended to both Handley and Millbrook as Clarke had/has to find 6 non district games due to the new VHSL alignment. The offer was extended to both along with James Wood in the Winchester/Frederick County area.

Looking at your posted schedule shows only 4 non-district games: Man Park, Millbrook, Handley and Riverside. The rest are BRD games aren't they? How do you get to needing 6 non-district games?

The new alignment starts next year and not this year. Warren County and William Monroe will be leaving the Bull Run. Rapp doesn't play a district schedule in football. So that leaves: Clarke/Central/Madison/Strasburg/George Mason left in the Bull Run. All BRD schools have to find 6 non district games.

Broadway plays William Monroe and Skyline this year. That may be an outlet for some Bull Run District teams to get a game.
