Coach Hayden is stepping down as head football coach of Lee-Davis.

In his four years on the job, the Confederates not once had a losing record.
2010 6-4
2011 6-5
2012 7-4
2013 5-5

Coach Hayden reached the playoffs twice, 2011 and 2012.
In 2011 the Confederates lost to Atlee in overtime in the Division 5 Central Region Semifinal
In 2012 the Confederates lost to Hanover in the Division 5 Central Region Semifinal

Under Hayden
Lee-Davis allowed 177 points in 2010, the fewest points allowed by the Confederates since 2001 when Coach McConnell was still there.

Hayden posted a 24-18 record in four years and was 17-10 in district play.

In the Capital District he finished 2nd, 5th, 3rd and 4th from 2010-2013.

Against county rivals Hanover, Patrick Henry and Atlee, the Confederates were 8-6
2-3 v. Hanover
3-1 v. Patrick Henry
3-2 v. Atlee

Hayden is the third winningest coach in Lee-Davis history, behind only Coach Gregory and McConnell.

They are losing one of the best coaches in the state. There is no one that cares more about the players development and helping them get to college more than Hayden.
