Colonial Heights scored with 59 seconds remaining and trailed 21-12 heading into fourth. Colonial Heights had a strip sack/fumble return for touchdown to cut the score down to 21-18 and on the ensuing kickoff, New Kent fumble, Colonial Heights recovered and drove the field to take a 24-21 lead. New Kent could not score on their next drive and Colonial Heights ran the clock out.
