Dan was a good friend and always had a quip or a comment that brought smiles to our faces. He was THE DEAN of SW Virginia HS football broadcasters. I always enjoyed talking with him during the off-seasons and interacting with him before and after Pulaski/Blacksburg games. He is and will continue to be greatly missed. PCHS and Dublin/Pulaski County will feel his loss for a long, long time.
