Culpeper beat Spotsy team that wouldn't go away tonight 82-71. JM barely beat Kettle Run in a low scoring affair 38-31. Winner hosts Loudoun Valley. Loser travels to John Champe.

I think this game will be more interesting than we all may assume.

It's easy to say that Culpeper blows JM out. They have been playing great since JM last beat Culp and JM has been somewhat unimpressive. Culpeper has a great thing going under Coach Thompson so I know the will be ready, especially at home.

If JM can avoid that early blitz, they can slow the game down and try to get the crowd out of it.

This is a big game for the conference and an underrated game across the state.

A win here could springboard one of these teams into the state tournament with a more favorable bracket in region play.

There is no way JM takes the crowd out of the game in CHS's gym it wont happen!! And John Champe and Loudoun Valley can beat JM easily. LV will try to slow the game up and make it a low scoring game. JC will try to feed their big man and try to push the tempo. I think Culpeper would be more favorable against John Champe then Valley. Both teams can beat Culpeper as well. If Culpeper's 3 ball is falling they will be hard to beat by JC/LV/or JM. After the first round that's when all 4 of these teams get blown out by Conference 26. Enjoy it now. Next year is James Monroe's year but don't let Culpeper be dethroned just yet in the next couple years they have some upcoming studs from JV.
