Does anybody have a projected bracket on Conf.24? I know Fleming and Glass are your top 2 seeds with I'm guessing GW being 3rd and probably Pulaski or Salem 4th? Thanks in advance.

i thought fleming and glass had the same record. if so what is the tie break? when is the first round of games?
It was confirmed that if Glass beats Liberty they'll have the 1 seed. I'm guessing since there's a rating system they'll get points for beating 6A PH, 4A Amherst (twice), 4A JF (twice), 4A Pulaski (twice) and won against 4A Fluvanna. Fleming is at a disadvantage for being in a 3A rich district. Fleming is hands down the best team in the Conference.
Not sure how the rating system works but, I can't imagine WF is penalized for district opponents. In football if you beat a district opponent regardless of their class(if lower) you get points as if it is a same class opponent. The VHSL has really screwed up the basketball playoff by allowing regions and conferences to set their own systems and it makes it extremely difficult for anyone outside the system to get a handle on tournament brackets. The systems are all over the board from straight winning pct. in games played to points based formulas, etc.. Talent wise I believe WF is the best team in the conference but, depending on bracket formats and game locations it is not impossible that results do not follow the chalk.
To your point, I believe Conf 24 uses winning % of a teams games vs only 3A, 4A, and 5A schools on schedule. For example, Fleming would not get credit for beating 6A PH and Pulaski County's two losses to PH would have no effect on their (PC) conference record or seeding. I may not be totally accurate on this and am certainly open to correction from someone more in the know, but I think this is how they do it in 24.
