on their amazing run to the "Elite 8" of the State 2A playoffs! I taught most of these girls when they were in the 8th grade and I send my best wishes as they face their biggest test of the year tomorrow at 2:00 PM in the Lady Bulldogs of Brunswick. It is a daunting task to say the least, but I do believe that our girls will play hard and play with nothing to lose and will continue to represent our school and community with class and poise and composure as they have done all year long. Congratulations and Good Luck!
And I know I said I wouldn't be posting again for a while. Circumstances dictate otherwise.
On another note: Congratulations are also in store for Coach Ponn and his Lady Bulldogs of Luray and my cousin Coach Paul Comer and his Lady Eagles (including my cousin Madison) from the Rock who will be getting the day started tomorrow at high noon in Hanover. (I know who I will be pulling for in that one! No offense to the fine folks at Luray! LOL!!
