Thanks @freeatlast2013 and congrats to your beloved Spartans as well. Our young team has matured, but they drive us fans crazy with some of the silly things they do. I have said this before, they don't seem to be overwhelmed by adversity. In fact, they are so inexperienced they laugh at it. The youngens just don't understand the magnitude of the moment or ignore it. They simple will not quit. When Barlow went down (he will be fine by next week) our 2nd and third team backs just stepped up and went down the field.
Our offensive line is playing rock solid and opening crazy holes. D'Anta Johnson is playing out of his mind at DE. He has 20 sacks now. The good thing is Collen Jackson our stud Freshman DT may play next week. He is being looked at by numerous D1 schools and will clog up the middle.
Not sure if this team can win next week, but I didnt think we would win the past two weeks either. I certainly did not think we would be facing PH Ashland. Congrats to the Patriots and the Lions. Sounds like their game was an old fashioned snobberlocker. Sometimes the best team doesnt always win.
