Just kidding around Golden 1! I would always support another Tidewater team at any level! Been in Hampton and Phoebus many times on business. Best of luck- everyone else will be rooting against you but the schedule Phoebus has played with only 1 loss to 10- 0 Hampton says it all. You will breeze though east. No real competition in your pod and the other pod has Hopewell but i don't think they can keep up.
Decided to come back to Preps for the playoffs because I don't know any of these teams in 3A. Our program has potential to win nonstop on the 3A level because of competition. We can't afford to be big headed though because we'll get humbled quick. I know for a fact that
Phoebus has some crazy talent in the 2020 class and will be a force for years to come.
I just wish we were in 5A with Hampton. They deserve a butt whooping this year because they played us minus 8 suspended players!

I dont understand the comment. Why do they deserve a butt whooping because you had 8 players suspended/ Was it their fault the kids were suspended?
Question for you. If former Phoebus player Robbie Robinson didn't transfer to Dematha how much better would this team be?
Think VHSL will just mail Phoebus the trophy for next few years. Was Phoebus in 3 A last year?
I love how this post is trying to set Phoebus up for failure. We are taking every game serious with the understanding that ANYONE can be beaten on any given day.
This was a funny little qwip.Many of the bay rivers schools were former peninsula district schools York and Tabb as well as the Rams at some point in time during my playing and coaching career.So while things change competition wise one can never consider themselves head and shoulders above the rest,that remains to prove it self true or not.Tabb is in a down cycle year so that game only proves the Phantoms need to on point out of the gate 11/21/2015 at 2pm or they may have rude awakening as the Falcons will take full advantage of any mistakes.
I'm covering DeMatha this year. Robbie Robinson would be great, playing heads and tails above anyone in 3A...I am happy for him. He is receiving a great opportunity up here. Being able to travel and play against blue chip athletes every week. But my heart wishes he were playing for Phoebus. He is a tremendous talent.

Maybe Phoebus should move back up to 5 A so they can play Hampton or some of the other supposedly better teams. Maybe in 2020 we will read about a state champ named Phoebus.
