Crazy night in Piedmont: Tunstall beats Martinsville in the Dawg House 56-51!

Congrats to Tunstall (3A) coach Eddy Lloyd and his Trojans on their 56-51 victory at Martinsville on Friday in Piedmont District play. This was just 24 hours after the Trojans fell at Dan River 69-36. First win in Martinsville for the Trojans since 2003.

Congrats to Tunstall. They played hard and made plays down the stretch to win. Martinsville was not helped any by their big man Jaheim Niblett going out of the game in the middle of the 2nd quarter and not returning, but with that being said all the credit goes to the Trojans for pulling out the win. Hope the Dogs can find a way to finish .500 this year.

Dogs followed up that debacle with another good win over Northside - this time in Roanoke. It's early and there are plenty of games left to iron out some of the inconsistencies, but the talent is there to be a final 8 caliber squad again.
