I will be leaving at 11:00 for the voyage to Williamsburg. Stopping near Hopewell for the night. Continue on to Williamsburg early Saturday. Getting there early to avoid the massive traffic jams I predict will happen, plus get a good parking space.
Upon my return I will write a Post comparing the W&M venue to Liberty University as host site for the Championship games in D3/4.

It doesn't even compare I'm in Williamsburg now and rode by the stadium. There are many high school stadiums bigger and parking is terrible. So far for me it's a disaster of a place to have the championships

@OCBoy wait, what? So it doesn't look like this yet? I know this is a mockup, but I thought it'd be done by now.

To me not at all it's a lot smaller than that to me. I've been in high school stadiums in va bigger. It just looked small to me maybe it's because it was empty but it just doesn't fit a state championship IMO

Voyage? Aren't you from Gretna? It's a three and a half hour drive.

I'll put on my Carnak turban and predict that you'll say that Liberty was a lot better.

For those saying that the stadium is too small, it seats 12,000.

That's kinda hard to believe, I think the bleachers might be real long and with the bleachers in the end zones I think it's just so spread out that makes it look small

There is a complete dearth of pictures of the completed stadium on the internet.

I could not find an emphatic statement that said exactly how many seats there are. It may be 12,269, but that is just not definitively stated.

Assuming the picture posted above truly depicts the "new end product", then it is plenty adequate for these two championship games.

What does LU seat?

30,000 I believe

I believe LU seats 21 or 23,000. When I make my comparison I will be totally honest. I will evaluate all facets of stadium. Traffic. Parking. Seating.Stadium personnel. Concessions. Security. Gate operations. No stone will be left unturned.

I wonder if VHSL did a site visit before picking that place. If they did they should have noticed traffic and lack of parking. That place was built when people rode horses to games, probably.
