This list makes no sense to me. Where's Millbrook and Sherando and Handley on this list? They are just up the road a bit from Clarke. Why are they mixing classes? Confusing.

I didn't make the list haha. I saw it yesterday on the 3a board, so I figured I would post here. But I posted on the 3a board haha

My guess would be their viewing area? I don't know how far DNR reaches though

Yeah, I know you just posted it, it's not yours. The list though doesn't make sense to me. Guess I'm getting old AND blind!

Well, they don't have Stonewall on it, and they have Central and Strasburg in there. That might be because Stonewall would be below position 15. But yes, putting Clarke in and leaving Winchester schools out is weird. Also, Skyline should probably be in this geographically before Clarke. But maybe they don't think Skyline is as good as Broadway. We will find out Friday.

As a daily reader of the Harrisonburg paper I first thought this was their top 10 list, which they post each week, based on a poll that they take. Not sure exactly who contributes to that poll. Last week in their first one, even before any games had been played, I think they had Spotswood number one and Riverheads number two. But that poll is definitely always just ten teams and it has no power rankings, just a 1-10 ranking, which also includes where the team was the week before. In the past this voting was limited (I think) to just Shenandoah and Valley District teams, with maybe (?) schools just over the state line also being eligible. But my guess is that this year, the poll will expand so that S, V, and Bull Run teams will be eligible to be included.

Regardless of who they have listed I don’t they did their homework on where the teams should be listed
