On Saturday, 31 May 2008, Lee-Davis High School will be hosting the 1st Annual Drive Stop Football Push-Pull Team Competition. This power lifting meet will feature football players from Cosby, Freeman, Lee-Davis, and Thomas Dale competing pound-for-pound in the dead lift and bench. Admission is free. The competition will start at 8:30 am in the main gym.
There are still open slots available in the meet for any 6-10 man high school football or wrestling teams that are interested in competing. Contact Jason Meade at meade@leedavisfootball.com with any questions or to obtain more information.
