2nd and 6 for Eastside at the Rye Cove 22 and they are up 2 points with 9 minutes left in the game and they were running the ball at will and a touchdown likely puts the game away and they drop the QB back for a pass and he gets sacked. Poor play call and their drive is destroyed. Remember that key play if Rye Cove wins. Disastrous call by the Eastside OC.
I agree, terrible play calling in that situation. Rye Cove has not been able to stop #12 Hamilton all evening.

Heck of a TD throw from Landon Lane while under pressure. Congrats Rye Cove
What a game. I cannot stress that enough. Landon Lane hits Luke Jessee for approximately 29 yards for the touchdown with 25 seconds left. Eastside moves down the field with the aid of a Pass Interference and is nearly sacked on an untimed down leading to an incomplete pass to end the game. This was a VERY hard fought game. Eastside had the momentum for much of the 1st Half and really held Rye Cove for the majority of the game. Two touchdowns for Rye Cove in the last 6 minutes of the game made all the difference. For Eastside, Keldan Hamilton was an absolute force to be reckoned with on both offense and defense. For Rye Cove you have to look to Landon Lane and Blake Goins. The loss of Carter Roach-Hodge to injury really took a toll on Rye Cove tonight. Hopefully he will be back for next week's match up with Grayson County. Eastside should hold their head high as they played a tremendous game tonight.
