Episcopal traveled to Richmond and defeated Collegiate 28-7. University of Virginia commit John Rogers had a big game in all three phases.

The game was a defensive struggle in the 1st quarter as neither team got a 1st down until under a minute was left in the quarter.

Episcopal scored at the end of the 1st quarter with the 1st big play of the game. Senior quarterback Alexander Brady connected with Anderson Brady on a 51-yard reception to setup 1st-and-goal from the 2-yard line. Alexander finished the drive with a quarterback keeper for a 7-0 lead with 24 seconds to go in the 1st quarter.

The next time Episcopal had the ball, Brady found Judah Ofori-Ansah two times or 21 and 19 yards with the latter resulting in a touchdown for a 14-0 lead.

Collegiate finally got on the scoreboard just before the end of the 3rd quarter. A great effort by running back Xay Davis who bobbled a catch before hauling it in and racing to the endzone for a 65-yard touchdown reception.

Trailing by only seven entering the 4th quarter, the Cougars could not overcome losing starting quarterback Jack Callaghan who left the game in the 1st quarter. Collegiate had four turnovers in the 4th quarter including three intercepted passes.

Episcopal went back up by 14 after an interception led to 36-yard touchdown pass from Brady to Reed Phillips.

A fumbled punt return by Collegiate led to the final Episcopal score. Running back Cedric Benning broke free for a 40-yard run then went completed the drive with a 2-yard touchdown run with a little more than two minutes remaining.
