I saw the points in the post below. Does the split mean that 4 from each side go to the playoffs or is it too 8 from each region?

Not sure what post you are referring to (unless it is Bounty13's), but in Class 6 all regions send 8 teams to the playoffs. Region D (Northern) and Region C (Occoquan) will each send their top 8 and they will play down within their region until only one is left, then those two meet in the state semifinals.
Thank you. You answered my question. I think I have seen the format change three times from 2014. Use to be the four regions, then the two regions all in concept and now the way you described.
