What's going on with Galax? Are they way down this year? Do they have injuries? 0-2 as the returning State Champs, maybe they will get it together towards the end of the season.

Did you expect them to not be 0-2 at this point? They were 0-2 at this point last year as well. They’ve played two good class 2 opponents and we know the gap between 1 and 2 is pretty big. Also good chance they’re not as good.

Galax just doesn’t have the numbers. I saw them and they maybe have 20 players on the team. Just can’t see them competing with Altavista or Essex if they were to make it this year.

Galax might have done more than that. They might have played the best 2 class 2 teams in the state arguably. They are down though this year. Lost a lot and Carroll County doesn't beat Galax when Carroll County beat them, it's a good indicator Galax is down.
