If I’m not mistaken you were lobbying last year for him to return to Rural Retreat. In case you were wondering the answer is still a NO...lol
I know little about GCs coach, but.....by reading your post, are you arguing that Gate City should not make a change? If so, then why? Why would or should they not make a change? If the GC poster was lobbying last year for a coaching change, how does that equate to no change being needed?
I might be wrong, but Gate City was saying he needed to go back to Rural Retreat, but Rural Retreat fans didn't want him back.
comment might have been misunderstood. I was joking in reference to a comment made last season. At that time he was comically Askin if RR would take him back. And last year I also said NO.
It wasn’t meant to throw any shade or negativity toward his dislike for his teams coach. I personally nor professionally have no problem with Akers. He was a players coach here when he was in charge. He didn’t do bad at all by the kids at a very small school. Truth be told he might not be the perfect fit for GC. Who knows?

No worries or misunderstandings. I was just curious as to the perception of fans preference for the GC coach. The post by EH 31 I assume is a joke, but implies Akers (current GC coach) will return next year. If GC were to go 0-10, why would the odds still be as high?
I wass joking with daddy_rabbit last year, about taking Akers back. The offer is still good. Akers at GC is 6-18, he needs to resign, get fired. Ive said from day 1, he didnt fit GC system. He totally changed GC, the fan dont even watch the games now, they just show up. No cow bells clanging, no yelling WE ARE GC across the stands at each other. Akers, GC Administration killed the Football program.
