Effective immediately football in the greater Richmond region has been cancelled. Football will now be replaced with mud wrestling, outdoor swim meets, and snorkeling competition. Kayaking and canoeing will be added as demonstration sports. White water rafting on the former football fields has been deemed too dangerous because of the currents.
