They beat a Goochland team (33-14) that most think is better than last year's team that lost to Riverheads in the 3rd round of the VHSL playoffs.

Fork Union is very much improved.FUMA's line play was outstanding and their RB is very good. Their defense was very solid and they have a LB that is very talented. Goochland did not do themselves any favors in the game with some turnovers and some plays they normally make but did not in this game. Good teams make other teams make mistakes which is what FUMA did. FUMA was the better team last night and deserved the victory.
I appreciate the analysis G-DOG2, I wonder if FUMA will have the firepower to compete with Monticello?
I think that game should be very competitive..... I have not seen Monticello play this year but I know they are very talented. Kyree Koontz is a special player. FUMA's team is much further along than last year and has improved their overall team speed. I would be surprised if this game is a blowout either way.
