There is always a chance in most cases. Most folks did not give Graham a chance to beat FC a few years back when FC had that great team led by Coleman Thomas. The difference this year though is the talent level of Graham. It's through the roof. If FC were to win this game, it would be the biggest upset in my opinion in Southwestern VA this season. However, FC's record at 6-2 is a bit of a surprise and FC is a weird team. FC beats Galax by 2-3 TD's, but only beats Grayson County by 1 point last week. If FC makes this a close game, then the FC fans may need to start thinking about the potential to make a deep playoff run in 1A. For example, if FC were to keep this within 10 points playing on the road and in Bluefield, then that could spell trouble for any 1A team it faces in the playoffs. My honest prediction (have not seen FC this year by the way, so I can only go by scores)....Graham 48, FC 14, with a rolling clock about mid way through the third quarter. Will the team that beat Galax 28-7 or the one that beat Radford show up for FC, or will it be the one that barely got by Grayson and got throttled by P. McCluer? The above are only my opinions. I am no soothsayer and for all I know, FC may win by 3 TDs. I am just giving my opinions and you know what they say about those.........they are like an ********, and everybody seems to have one. But since you asked for thoughts and opinions, I gave mine.
