Fort Chiswell @ Graham???

Any thoughts? Predictions? Does FC have a chance?

There is always a chance in most cases. Most folks did not give Graham a chance to beat FC a few years back when FC had that great team led by Coleman Thomas. The difference this year though is the talent level of Graham. It's through the roof. If FC were to win this game, it would be the biggest upset in my opinion in Southwestern VA this season. However, FC's record at 6-2 is a bit of a surprise and FC is a weird team. FC beats Galax by 2-3 TD's, but only beats Grayson County by 1 point last week. If FC makes this a close game, then the FC fans may need to start thinking about the potential to make a deep playoff run in 1A. For example, if FC were to keep this within 10 points playing on the road and in Bluefield, then that could spell trouble for any 1A team it faces in the playoffs. My honest prediction (have not seen FC this year by the way, so I can only go by scores)....Graham 48, FC 14, with a rolling clock about mid way through the third quarter. Will the team that beat Galax 28-7 or the one that beat Radford show up for FC, or will it be the one that barely got by Grayson and got throttled by P. McCluer? The above are only my opinions. I am no soothsayer and for all I know, FC may win by 3 TDs. I am just giving my opinions and you know what they say about those.........they are like an ********, and everybody seems to have one. But since you asked for thoughts and opinions, I gave mine.

Graham has a fast team. Fort just needs to skate through without any injuries. 49-13 IMO

If Fort comes out of this game with no injuries, that will be a win in my opinion. Maybe the G-Men are looking past the Fort and will play with no enthusiasm at all. Have tons of turnovers, penalties and some kids will forget they have a game on Friday. Then maybe, just maybe we have a shot. I hope both teams are healthy before and after the game. Good Luck FORT!!!!!!!

I'm gonna go with Graham. Fort has had a great season, and it certainly isn't over for them, but this Graham team is getting nasty results.

I think Graham just has to much talent and speed for Fort, just don't see them matching up very well. Fort has surprised a lot of people this year and they're having a heck of a year but I see Graham rolling in his one.

Fort beat Galax 31-20 if I remember right not 28-7.

Graham will score early and often. The waterboy even has speed.

Sure FC has a Chance, about 1000 to1in winning. So I am saying " You got a Chance".
Seriously, I have seen some film on Graham, and they looked like a Championship
Team. Speed, speed , and more speed......on both sides of the ball. They don't beat
You, they make you beat yourselves. What you can't catch or see, you can't stop or
Tackle. GMEN are for real, it will take a very good team to beat them again. I don't
See that happening by teams in SWVA, or the Eastern Teams either.

Graham won 49 to 28. It was 49 to 13 heading into the 4th, then the subs went in. Graham has speed at every position it seems like.
