Fort Defiance 21 at Madison Co 13. ..final…

I expect a lot of teams across the state will do the same thing.
It’s not looking so great right. But the MC crew has the field ready but not sure how much more rain it can handle. Since both teams like to pass, at least there will not be one team at a greater disadvantage. It would be nice to have Buckinghams offense in this mess!

I could be wrong, but I do not think Fort will pass nearly as much with their bell cow WR out. The QB and RB have speed and can house it from anywhere, so I expect a heavy dose of those two tonight. Good luck to everyone playing tonight and safe travels to all

At the half, FD 21 MC 7. FD scored on a long pass and a short pass in the second quarter. 2 bad snaps and an INT at the goal line doomed promising MC drives. Field is bad.

MC turned it over on downs at midfield and FD was able to run out the clock. FD is a quality team. Very disciplined and well coached. Id love to see these teams play on a dry field. It was obvious both teams were more reserved given the foul weather and slippery field.

MC’s dynamic receiver Dickey only targeted maybe 2-3 times all night. Very odd…
