I name to keep an eye on is Christchurch sophomore linebacker Jamar Darboe (6-foot-1, 218) who is already receiving interests from several D1 schools.
"He has some nice initial interest from Liberty, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion, and the other area schools," Christchurch head coach Ed Homer said. "He is a class of 2018 kid and he has a nice high ceiling...and his grades are going very well!"
As a sophomore, Darboe was credited with 81 tackles including 43 solo stops while adding one interception and five tackles for loss. He also scored five touchdowns on his 37 carries as a running back while gaining 165 yards. He added seven receptions for 50 yards including a score.
