Suprising result - is Floyd much improved this year?

I wouldn't read to much into the score, Galax moved the ball fairly easily against them when they were not committing stupid penalties(several personal foul) and Galax played their whole JV team after a couple series in second half. Floyd may still be in for long year and if Galax don't get the stupid mistakes fixed they will be to but I do think Dixon will fix those mistakes. Galax kind of veiws these benefit games as glorified practices and uses them to evaluate players.

What’s the Galax backfield look like? Any chance for a 2,000 yard season?

Denver Brown is a horse back there but the way we run the offense now with much more passing idk what kind of yardage he will be able to get

I think you’ll still see us run the ball a lot. Score is way misleading as well. When you look at stats for game. Over 200 yards of offense during first half. The 10 penalties for 95 yards killed us. Denver had over 100 yards rushing first half.

I agree we will still run the ball a lot but the offense is much more balanced these days with the passing game unlike the days of Steven Peoples, Joseph Dixon and Charles Harris running for 3000 yards. We are not so one dimensional these days which should benefit us come playoff time. Denver can still have a lot of yards this season if he plays to his potential.
