Northside is a quality team so Galax checked a few boxes off the list tonight. Sure they would have like to have won but no shame in the updates I was getting on the game.

I was hoping for a win but we did have some positives come out of this game. Galax did put up more points on Northside than anyone has this year and that's including teams like Salem, Pulaski County, Hidden Valley and Cave Spring so I'll take that as a positive. However we gave up entirely to many points on defense but Galax still had a descent showing last night, sure it could've been better but it could've been a lot worse also.

We definitely proved we could play with them. And if not for a few drops or a penalty that went out way game would’ve been a lot closer. We definitely grew a lot with battling back from a couple touchdown deficits and no apparent injuries. Proud of them for fighting back.

Definitely more drops than usual and you are right I think we definitely proved we can play with the likes of Northside and other good teams. Once the kids figured out they could play with them it was a different game and our guys showed a lot of heart last night. I think this game helps us become a better team and will benefit us deep in the playoffs.

I would just like to see Galax play a game with all their starters in the game, haha . Have had two starters out for each game all season, even last night.

Agreed....we really miss one in particular but we might have him back after the bye week...hopefully anyway
