Game location

Looks like a nice field on google maps. Doesn't seem to have much for visitors side bleachers or much parking. RH will travel like crazy based on the past.
Can somebody who knows field give us some real info. Thanks.

Middlesex has an extremely nice and beautiful new stadium with a great natural grass field.

Excellent facilities but the visitor seating will not be enough to hold the Riverheads faithful. I would suggest bringing your own chairs and/or many will stand.

I was just there this season for the Northumberland v Middlesex game. I had to park across the street from the high school for that one. I expect that there will be way more people at this game (like 3x or more).

May be a long line at the bathrooms and concessions as well. Again, the East does not usually have the monster crowds for Football like many in the West do.

That was really nice of Middlesex to agree to host this big game. MHS is about 30 minutes down 17 South from Tappahannock.

It will be alot of Riverheads folks there and will probably feel like an away game for Essex. It may be a lot of Red in the "home stands"...

Excellent newer facilities extremely easy access from rt 17, very little traffic natural turf, school parking kinda small but plenty of overflow available. Cant see anyone having to walk more than a 1/4 mile. I think they have about same visitor seating as KW or KG. Maybe little less. Best part is it only 15 min from WP

Suggest Riverheads fans get there early and just take over the home bleachers lol

The field is the right size and that is where the work gets put in. Bleachers and facilities are the least of worries for the players themselves. Button up the chin strap and have at it.

Most from Greenville have one leg shorter than the other ! Can't get away from those hills . Hard for a short fat man to see the game from eye level ! May have to watch it on the radio !

Dorothy, you're not in 2A anymore lol

OCboy (above) may have been joking but if it is a guarantee, as it almost seems to be, that Riverheads will bring more fans to this game than Essex will, why couldn't they simply switch bleacher sections?

That would make sense to me, and I would rather see that than to see some Riverheads fans sit on the Essex side because they don't have anywhere else to sit and possibly have some conflict. It was already reported recently that at the regular season RHS/Lee game, quite a few RHS fans sat on the Lee side, but from what I heard, there were no problems with it.

I was joking but I know most schools post visitors have to sit on the away side and home on the home side. I doubt it would happen but I also doubt Essex would fill those bleachers
