Catching up on Gate City after being away for almost 2 months.
Wow so what happened with Zac?
That's so sad to hear that he's not going to be able to play the rest of his senior season.
I feel with him and Bradley, they would be a darkhorse to face post-season.
But if anything good has come out of it - just look at all the balanced and deep scoring by the team.
I guess I was so used to seeing just Mac, Zac and Dean in the scoring column last season.
BY the way, LOVE watching MAC play for G'town - I try to catch anytime they are on.

Glad to see you back on the board pizzzzza! Zac had tendonitis in his knee and it's been affecting him all year. The meniscus issue was actually in the opposite knee and he had played for possibly 2 or 3 weeks with it! So both knees were bad. He just powered through it but you could see he wasnt himself several games before he had the surgery. And not to be overly optimistic....but since they just removed it instead of repairing it the surgery was minimally invasive. It was the best case scenario for possibly getting him back in 3-4 weeks if GC were to make it a few games deep into the post season. I dont look for it to happen but who knows.
I didnt forsee them winning it even if he was super healthy but they certainly had the talent to do so if they played really well and the ball bounced their way a few times. That's all it takes.
I try to catch Mac playing every time I get the chance. Hes doing surprisingly well in my opinion. I didnt have high expectations in his freshman year to be honest but I'm happy to be wrong.
