On Thursday June 22nd, we are hosting our fourth Elite Team Challenge at George Washington High School in Danville, Va. This is a FREE event to come to, there will be 7 on 7 games played on the game and practice fields as well as OL/DL challenges in the weight room and on the practice field.
In the 7 on 7 part of the competition each team will have the chance to play every other team that is there, as well as have a game off to rest. Points are awarded to the winner of each 7 on 7 game and these points will go to the teams overall point total. The lineman will have 5 different events to compete in and they are: Bench Press for reps at 185, Hang Clean for reps at 185, 4 vs 4 Tug-of-war, tire flip and sled pull relay, and finally the 4x100m relay. Points are awarded to the teams that finish first, second, and third. The team with the most points combined from the 7 on 7 and the lineman will be the overall winner and receive a plaque to take home with them.
We had great success and a great day of competition last year with the Elite Team Challenge. There will be a coaches meeting at 9:00 am and then the first games will start at 10:00 am.
